I'm often slightly in awe of Mary McDonald's bold sense of color, symmetry and pattern. It's actually her commitment to visual balance that makes a room this graphic and bold seem calm and controlled. Bumble be yellow and black, if not done with sophistication, can easily overwhelm. But Mary, of Mary, waves a talented hand over the space and interjects mochas, ivories and gold in a way that makes the space sing.
