I think most of us in the designer and design blog world have a crush on Hickory Chair. There's the cache of acquiring pieces designed by such notable figures as Mariette Himes Gomez, Suzanne Kasler, Thomas O'Brien and Alexa Hampton. There are lovely pieces that function almost as jewelry to a space. Gilded stools, perfectly designed desks, chic settees, elegant chairs. I love so many pieces from this brand. 

The collections have certainly evolved since my first encounter with Hickory Chair years ago. There's a more modern element sliding into place. But for me, Hickory will always be my go-to brand for old world glamour and elegance. If these photos aren't convincing enough, get thee to the nearest showroom to be completely wowed. I assure you, you'll fall in love!
