Books + Autumn = Bliss
I don't know about you, but I LOVE getting mail. Good mail, that is. Books, magazines, boxes from Nordstrom, Sephora & Saks. You know the drill. But since it's fall we have a slew of new books that will be hitting the stands (and my desk) fairly soon.
One of them is New York Interiors: Bold, Elegant, Refined. Who doesn't love to see how other people live? I could look at spreads of people's home for days so long as the homes and (presumably the lives of the inhabitants) are interesting. This book promises to stand up well to both of those standards.
Do they collect art? Are they minimalists? Or - far more interesting to see - maximalists? Does their home reflect their love of travel or family or comfort? There's just so much to observe and learn when you look closely at how people live. And in a city as rich in diversity as New York, we're promised an intriguing mix of lifestyles and places real people - interesting people - call home.Swing back by for my review once it arrives...
