Not Kidding Around

I'm hot on the children's textiles trail. If you've ever shopped for bedding for your child - and you have even the slightest hint of a contemporary aesthetic - you'll agree the bulk of the options are pretty bleak. Textile designer Lulu deKwiatkowski obviously agreed. Her line Lulu DK Child for Schumacher offers a modern spin on the definition of children's designs. As she puts it: “A child’s room should have an atmosphere that is magical.” I agree. And I love her bounty of giraffes, elephants and vibrant colors. See it here.

What the beautiful people are saying...

In this I learned a lot! Thank you!

I've no desire to switch Lucia to a bed any time soon but I find myself looking at bedding got a big girl bed all the time! These are beautiful! And I'm feeling inspired to get her some more sheets to switch it up from her usual plain white and pink and her green and blue polka dots. They're cute but these are indeed magical. love!

Monica, Ill tell you: both of my girls rooms are just for show and playtime. They always end up snuggled next to mommy! I wouldnt trade it for the world. Thats why this time around I skipped the whole crib for Eva. Going for a daybed with a trundle instead. Far more useful!

Something to say, gorgeous?
