Open Sky has been around now for a few years. Seems it took a while for things to start happening and for a critical mass of big names to attach themselves to it. But the wait has really been worth it.

What is it? Well known celebs like Cynthia Rowley, Tom Colicchio and others reveal their fave products, Open Sky then features them one at a time and offers the goods at a sweet discount. Each day the focus in on just one awesome find (an item the famous person in question actually adores) and you can benefit from their coolfinding wisdom as well as fab pricing.

Today's find is a yummy sable colored dress worn by a Bravo TV favorite, Kelly Bensimon. The dress is gorgeous and it looks as though the photo shoot happened in Kelly's own master closet. Gotta love that. Kelly often shares a video as well, a feature of the site (and her) that I particularly enjoy.

Previously there have been apothecary jars found by Marty Lawrence-Bullard, fab fashion finds by Liz Lange & Jane Wagman and a smattering of other noteworthy items by equally influential public figures.

I have to say, I really prefer this one-at-a-time format compared to the smorgasbord version served up elsewhere. For me, it's just too much information in a sea of already overflowing visual stimulation. With one item I can focus and decide within moments if it's a yes or no for me. There's no time wasted, no second guessing. I really, really love the concept.
