Glass floored spa, anyone? I thought so. Imagine a retreat so tranquil and relaxing that you never even think to put shoes on your feet. Days lounging staring at the azure Indian Ocean. Nights spent enjoying fine dining by candlelight at the unique Athaa undersea restaurant - one of seven world-class restaurants on the property.

The Maldives are actually a chain of islands in the Indian Ocean, the highest point of which is a scant 8 feet. Imagine staring for hours at sea level, marveling at the wonder of this naturally gorgeous location. This vacation paradise, the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Hotel, occupies two of those islands, and is connected by an illuminated bridge.

For those of us with little ones, this deluxe tropical retreat does allow children. (My aunt and uncle have visited islands in the topics before that don't allow children.. so be sure to check when making plans.) Not only are they allowed, they have a kids club to keep them engaged and make the trip as memorable for them as possible.

Sublime relaxation and fun for the whole family. If you're looking for heaven on earth disconnected from your many devices and daily responsibilities, this is surely the spot.

What the beautiful people are saying...

That is just glorious. The teak woods give off such a rich and soothing aura. My bag is packed! When do we leave?

These pictures make me want to take a vacation! Ahh, how glorious it would be to just relax and enjoy the serenity of the world.

Crazy but I have been here! My husband and I spent 8 wonderful nights here for my honeymoon and it's paradise! I recommend the Maldives and The Conrad to anyone. Seeing the photos takes me back to the best vacation I've ever taken.

Dont you love those vacation flashbacks? They keep me going between trips!
