Andalusian Dreams

Have you been to Spain? Aside from the ongoing challenge to find food during the day (restaurant hours are limited at best, and options are slim), the country is amazing. We've only been to a few of the more popular stops: Barcelona and Madrid. Yet I know beyond doubt that I cannot wait to return. The Villa Oniria in Granada is reason enough to brush up on my language skills. This tiny boutique hotel boasts only 31 rooms. But those rooms are as luxe as luxury accommodations can possibly be. Situated in a 19th century palace that has been restored to its original grandeur and beyond, the Andalusian charm is sure to romance you here. Well appointed, affording views of the sparkling city below and delighting you with plush surroundings. You may never, ever want to leave this dreamy spot.

Spain is a very special place to spend time. Bustling streets, fashionable citizens, architecture so stunning in scale and complexity that it makes your head spin. Add to that a rich and storied past deeply entrenched in modern day style - you've got a winning destination. Whether you prefer beaches, mountains or hilly countryside, this incredible country beckons.

What the beautiful people are saying...

The key is to live like a Spaniard while you're there. Lunch starts late and so does dinner. Spain has some of the best food in the world, especially Barcelona! Let me know when you decide to go back and I'll give you some recommendations. :)

When I was in Barcelona, I was completely floored by the beauty and the amazing food there. Not to mention the people and the shopping, all wonderful! :) Oh how I miss Espana!

Paloma, thats so true, isnt it? We found we had the best time in Italy when we surrendered to the local schedule. Siesta is a marvelous concept. Trust me I will certainly be coming to your for recs when we return. I do miss the region!

Looks very comfortable! !

This place looks so stunning. A perfect place to relax after a tiring day exploring Barcelona. Oh, I heard they also serve great food?
