Silly over Milly
Every spring I have this Milly "moment" where I want to rush out and buy up Shoshanna, Milly and DVF dresses. There's a prettiness to them and a freshness that I just love. Sometimes it's a shift dress, other times a a waist-whittling "ladies who lunch" style frock. Eyelet, tweed, silk, cotton... it hardly matters. What does matter is that these brands are girly and colorful. But who are we kidding? Right now blue and white dominate. And I swear by my solids, as prints go out of fashion so quickly. Here are a few gems (as well as the adorable designer Michelle "Milly" Smith herself) from the current collection.
I add a few of her pretty summer dresses each year and look forward to pulling them out each time the mercury begins to rise. Now, of course, I'm jonesing for that navy eyelet skirt above and that sensational dress Michelle has on in the top photo. Now that's a dress you'll wear forever. See them all at MillyNY.com.

Love Milly! So feminine and chic.

I just LOVE her look, Kyle. Clean. Pretty. Not too fussy. Not overtly preppy. Ive been quietly collecting for some time.. but I never have enough :)
