Game, Set, Match!
Those following me on twitter know I'm obsessed with tennis. For my birthday I've asked Mr. Venti for private lessons and a club membership. I held a racket a tiny bit in high school but haven't been on a court for even a moment of seriousness in years. Suddenly it's the only thing I want to do. The skirts, the sunshine, focus - it all sounds dreamy. And really, have you ever seen a female tennis player with bad legs? I rest my case. So rather than spend my summer in the gym I plan to hit the courts.
Thanks to the Dallas Stylistas I now know that Lacoste is introducing a collection in collaboration with the dreamy Catherine Malandrino. Hit's just the right note, doesn't it?

LOVE it! I used to play a lot of tennis but got HORRIBLE tennis elbow and had to quit about 10 years ago. Our club requires all white however so some of these chic pieces wouldn't have worked for me - small consolation.

I, too, am obsessed with tennis. I picked up a racquet for the first time 5+ years ago and I cannot get enough. WHY didn't I try it when I was a kid? Crazy.
Anyway, I LOVE the Lacoste pleated skirts. So flirty and fresh.
Thanks for the post!

The outfits weren't nearly half as nice when I was younger. Maybe that was why I didn't pick it up ;)
Seriously though. Sounds like fun. Once my kids are older I should take it up. Living in SD there's no excuse not to be outside.

Ladies, I think I am possibly as enamored with the pleated skirts as I am the idea of developing some mad skills. I'll surely keep you posted and see if I can't post some (hopefully not too amateur-ish) pics of me in action once I'm outfitted!

Patti, I agree. I just found out my three year old could even learn. Why oh why wasnt I born with a silver spoon in my mouth?! :)
Regardless, its game on now. Wish me luck!
