Show Me Your Dallas
Since the move last fall, I've been slowly but surely discovering incredible areas throughout my new city. Truth be told, the "good stuff" isn't usually in a guidebook. Smart locals save that for themselves. Who can blame them? But I consider myself a local now, or at least a girl who plans to make Dallas her permanent home. So I want to know it all. I want to see it all. I want to experience it all.
Rather than spend a year or two in search of all that secret coolness throughout the Big D, I've decided to enlist the assistance of local experts. These are bloggers, designers and fun girls you already know and love. I've asked them to do one simple thing, "Show me your Dallas." This can be a tucked away fashion boutique, a legendary landmark or a simple taco stand down the street. It can be anything they wish.
It's my quest to discover more of the uniquely local places that are authentically "insider" Dallas. After all, this is their version of this great city and I want to empower them with the freedom to enlighten me. The ultimate goal is to get together, enjoy a little girl bonding and showcase some of the city's hidden gems along the way.
Stay tuned!

Can't wait to read! My favorite hidden gems are usually food-related. Luckily we live in a city blessed with many of those.
