Venti Giveaway: Win a Rumba Watch

**** Update! We have a winnah'! J Wilson was the lucky winner of the Rumba watch. After peeking at her site I'd say it's the perfect fit for this avid runner and lively personality. On her site she quotes Mary Oliver by asking, "What will you do with your one wild and precious life?" Have to love a girl asking the right questions! Congrats, J!****

Rumba

Honestly, I completely missed the growing popularity of these silicone watches. You can't go out now without seeing them everywhere. While many of them are gimmicky and gender-neutral, I have to admit that some of these pretty little Rumba watches are pretty and (dare I say it?) girly!

Giuliana-Rancic
By now you're thinking, "Franki.. what does this have to do with the lifestyles of the rich & fabulous content you usually serve up?" Simple: even the most glam celebs work hard to keep to keep their bodies lithe and red carpet ready. A mind-blowing number of famous people have been seen spotted on stage and in front of the camera brandishing these beauties. Even my celeb crush Giuliana Rancic was seen sporting her super fab white Mercer Rumba. (I just love her.)

I myself have the very sleek little Lafayette watch seen above in Snow Patrol white. I LOVE it. Personally, I'm wearing mine on while working out. I am rocking that bad boy during boot camp and at Zumba class. It's water-resistant and is really the safest kind of jewelry to wear when you're working out. Just the right amount of bling and no worries about snagging your workout geat (or having a Zumba routine malfunction. No clasps, no snaps, no worries. I love this little guy!

I managed to score a glam Lafayette watch just for one of you. All you have to do to win (and I can only have one winner) is tell me what you're doing to get your body ready for spring. I just hired a new trainer (Hi there, Ben!) and also joined his seriously hardcore boot camp classes. No excuses, no escape, no thinking. Just do what he says, drink lots of water and watch the lean muscle mass develop.

Do you Zumba? Do you salsa? Do you walk? Do you Spin? Are you a cardio queen or a boot camp baby? Dumbells your method? I think a brand new Rumba watch would make a fine addition to your wardrobe anytime... but I think you'll love wearing a white Lafayette Rumba watch when you're building that summer body.

So... spill it, folks! You have until March 3rd at 12:00 midnight EST to enter. Comment must include your pre-shorts-season fitness plan of attack. Ready... set... GO!

What the beautiful people are saying...

OMG what an awesome giveaway! I'm a total cardio queen. I try to get at least 45 minutes of high intense cardio in 5X a week. I meet with my trainer 2X a week too for weight training.

Ok, so I feel like a slug compared to Andi who just posted before me, BUT cardio 3x/week and weights/2x. Oh, and carrying an extra 22 pounds around here and there (daughter Stella). Great giveaway!

you are both NO slackers! That's a lot of working out! Keep it up, girls!

Franki, I love this giveaway and I love these watches. They're fun, fantastic and noncommittal. Perfect for everything.

Going to incorporate more interval training to boost the burn!!

Yay, what a cool giveaway, I have been wanting one of those watches :) I just joined a new gym that opened by my house and have been loving their TRX classes. I still mess around with weights and try to get cardio in the mornings (something I have been slacking on as of late). But def try out TRX if your gym has it, works your core and muscles and you even get some cardio thrown in. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is working out to these days.

BTW, forgot to add that I am loving Giuliana as of late as well. Have you read her book?

Great giveaway! In the last month, I have kicked up my cardio workouts and added a pilates class. Can't wait for spring!

I'm loving this watch, especially for us stylish moms who have to add a little practicality to our wardrobe :) As far as exercise, it would be running after the kids...preferably at park or on The Katy Trail!

Though I didn't actually make it a New Year's resolution, this year I've actually gone to the gym regularly-which is a huge step for me! I'm alternating between running and yoga classes. I purchased a membership that allows me to go to any yoga/pilates/meditation class at my gym, so that flexibility is great with my class/work schedule!

LOVING all of the good inspiration. Keep the sweat up, ladies. Nothing beats the feeling of loving your body - whether that's curvy like a Kardashian or trim lithe like Gwyneth. Work it, girls!

WOW! Love the watch. Have never seen them here in Europe (so taken down the name).OK, my fitness regime includes walking or cycling where ever I can in the lovely Spanish sunshine, some Pilates and yoga added to the mix also.

Spin classes for me Franki. Four times a week for two years now. Totally addicted. Celulite? What celulite?

CarrieC, I have NOT read her book and I will go get it tomorrow. Totally forgot! (Also, I'm swimming in reading at the moment :)

Dying to get into this TRX training. My trainer has me doing Metabolic Workouts in addition to his butt & gut busting boot camp sessions. 3x week of the boot camp... one upper & one lower weight session per week on my own on top of that. I Zumba about 2-3x per week and pop in early morning power walks whenever possible.

Sounds like a lot when I write it out, but it's fairly straightforward & I'm loving every minute of it :)

A very cute watch! My workouts are mainly CARDIO. CARDIO. CARDIO. I hate cardio. Plus yoga. LOVE yoga!

I've been dying to get my hands on one of these watches. My bikini prep? Cardio 4 times a week and Dailey Method classes 3-4 times a week. I plan to have to sexiest legs/buns on the beach.

@superciliousseed you go girl! Im ALL about the bun burn too. For me its the only body part that counts. Tight buns = tight body.

OMG! A great giveaway for my favorite activity!

I just joined my local lifetime fitness and signed up for personal training sessions that start next week! Also cannot wait to be a part of team weight loss!

Also, I am trying every damn freaking class there from zumba to belly dancing to bootcamp! My hips have never moved as much as they do in the belly dancing class let me tell ya.
Above all I am having fun doing all this!
(Can you tell I am excited from all the exclamations I used? hehe)

I am walking 5 miles a day 6 days a week. Am doing it no matter how long it takes me to get it done each done. Not timing it either. I just need to MOVE and to pray! So call it my "prayer walk".

I found you from Studio Ten 25! I work out at a local gym but my love is for running. Two Half Marathons under my belt, an upcoming 5K on Saturday March 5 and an 8K on Saturday March 19. I just love to run! To keep in shape otherwise, I do lots of stretching a la ballet-style, yoga and I'm getting into light weight lifting to round out my training. What a great giveaway! I have a bunch of friends with these watches and you're right, they're so pretty!

Run on.

Valerie, that sounds heavenly!

I work out at the gym 3 times a week for 2 hours each time. I do a combination of cardio + weights + muscle strengthening exercises + stretching. It is definitely working so far as I am being able to fit into clothes I have not been able to before. I would love to have the watch to wear while I am working out. Thank you for the giveaway!

oh gosh, i guess i need to start thinking about that, since i've been a slug. at the moment I am forced to walk my dog daily (since my hubs hurt his knee). i need to dust off my kettlebell and hit it hard...ok, that's what i am going to do. cute watch!!!
