Wish You Were Here
I love their fun description of the boutique hotel:
...Anchored by the towering Mount Vomo, the white sand-ringed isle is non-tidal, ensuring you'll never have to move from your tanning spot. Do roll over from time-to-time, though.
Start your day with a stretch, walking out from either your beach or hilltop villa to views of sparkling ocean and gently swaying palms. Turn to look back at your room. How did such savvy interior design make its way to this tiny island? However it got here, you'll be glad it did.
Over and above inner and outer beauty, Vomo Island also offers a few other luxuries. Like some of the best reef diving in Fiji, an effortlessly hip cocktail bar, a nine-hole par three golf course, a year-round kids club, and the Reef restaurant, showcasing local produce.
As the flame from a torch flickers against the rising shadows, you plan tomorrow's excursion to a neighboring desert island. A vacation from your vacation, if you will.
I'm sorry, did they just say kid's club? Many of the Fijian resorts don't allow tots on the island, so this one stands out as a remote possibility for our "get to see soon" list. That's very good news for the Durbins.
If you haven't been to the newly redesigned Kiwi site before, brace yourself. I assure you it will inspire you to hop on a plane, passport in hand. It's arguably one of the best sites for those of us suffering from wanderlust. The photos are enormous, the information is wonderfully presented and you can explore in a variety of ways. I'm proud to introduce them as the Life in a Venti Cup sponsor site, as they share my passion for travel, luxury and a zest for life. But don't take my word for it... start surfing, baby!

Wish I was there, too! Happy weekend!
