Life is a funny thing. I've noticed that from time to time when my offline life is packed to the brim with activities, I go a bit quiet online. Other times I'm as chatty as ever on twitter & the blogs. This past week offered pitch prefect 70 degree days full sunshine, parties, friends, meetings, long walks and longer phone calls... let's just say it was firing on all cylinders. So as I sit overlooking my balcony with windows open, a cool breeze blowing in, looking at my laptop for the last time this week (yay!) this Restoration Hardware email resonates with my summer-loving soul. One beautiful patio ensemble after another beckons. One of the many things RH does well is set the mood. They know better than to show each beautiful collection in the same tired faux environment. Instead, they seduce us with unique settings and personalized looks. Are you a Spartan lover with a proclivity for clean lines and cleaner surroundings? Or does the Del Mar collection and the requisite view of the expansive Pacific cry out to your inner designer? Maybe the La Jolla collection, which offers a bit of a seaside resort vibe, invites further exploration. All I know is these lovely photos and settings (which must have taken considerable resources to produce) do a fantastic job of awakening the "summer Franki" within.
