Let Me Just Pencil You In...
Calendar makers everywhere are salivating. After all, it's that time of year - the only time of year - when we think of buying a fresh deck of the twelve upcoming months. The idea of a day planner never held much appeal for me. You know the type, the leather-bound refillable variety found at Franklin Covey. In this digital age I just don't find it fits my lifestyle or my needs.
What I do enjoy, however, is a nicely sized spiral bound booklet to pop into my handbag. I love scribbling notes onto pages or sketching a quick room diagram or fashion idea onto a textured white page. Kate Spade is offering this artisan-style book with illustrations by Bella Foster. The unlined pages (score!) allow me room for freedom of thought and unhindered creativity. On months I'm feeling particularly orderly I can use each page differently. More hurried months I envision a collage type effect happening - with business cards tucked in alongside reservation dates and appointment times.
And do you see what I see? A sweet little image of Audrey herself on the cover. Now how chic is that?Bring it on, 2010. I'm ready!

This so pretty. I bought one as a gift for a friend, but now I'm sorely tempted to keep it. The packaging is amazing as well.
