No one ever said looking good was easy. But if the 2010 fashion campaigns are any indication, we ought to be willing to sacrifice our very life force to obtain a Gucci or Vuitton bag. For some reason I love these ads. Yes,
even though I feel we've seen them before. It's as though Lara Stone and the - the model of
de mode - expended all of of her youthful energy reaching for just....one...last... bag. Love, love, love it. Fashion ads and celebrity campaigns are selling a lifestyle, a dream. So the story being told here, surely, is that she has survived a nasty bird attack (twice!) in a mossy patch of foliage, presumably saved only by sheilding herself with her oversize Louis Vuitton handbags. Whew! It's a good thing she wasn't carrying her teeny tiny clutch that day! Crisis averted, courtesy of Louis. It seems only sensible then that a girl go get herself one of those life saving beauties. You never know when you might find yourself the near fatal victim of a wildlife attack! ;)
Franki,
I adore you and your perspective and insight on most things. I know you don't get too personal but I was really looking forward to seeing some pics or hearing a little of how the Venti (Durbin) family spent the holidays. I am not alone out here. We want more, more, more

Oh gosh, I love your editorial in this post... so funny. For a girl who absolutely loves LV and hates birds, it had me in stitches.
P.s. just posted about your latest twitter desire on my blog.
All the very best,
