High Notes
If the energy at High Point Market is any indication, 2010 holds great promise for exciting design and renewed interest in quality furnishings. I'll hold off on my trend forecast until I sort through the photos, but it's safe to day that there's been an obvious return to quality and attention to detail.
Highlights to expect:
- my up close and personal moment with Margaret Russell. Yes, ma'am. And she's even prettier in person.
- My great appreciation for whip smart Thomas O'Brien. Quite possibly the most intelligent designer I've encountered... As well as pix of his extraordinary collection at Hickory Chair.
- photos of beautiful furniture, fabrics and home accessories you are sure to covet.
- thoughts on the illustrious Alexa Hampton - a force to be reckoned with when it comes to informed design and a passion for details.
- pix of Suzanne Kasler's new book, fresh squeezed tangerine color palette and that darned orange leather chair I can't get out of my mind
Let's just say I'll have lots to share and many beautiful photographs you won't want to miss. Stay tuned!

Sounds amazing...I can't wait to hear all about it! Hopefully next year I will finally be able to see what's goin' on at High Point for myself..Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while..I've missed reading your wonderful posts..Enjoy!
