Do They Make Pink Vespas?
Having thought about it, I don't actually want a pink one (although it's adorable!). I
am just curious was just curious as to what that might look like. In fact...I know what color I'd choose: white. Alpine white. And Mr. Venti can have a black one. What about you? What color would you choose?
**much thanks to Avian for pointing me in the direction of the myriad shots of pink Vespas on Flickr**

I knew there was a reason I loved you, I got a red Vespa last summer! I love it and ride it everyday weather permitting. And yes it does put a bit of a damper on my fashion choices, but I have been known to rock my platform wedges while getting around on my scoot!

I'm really loving the portofino green with the brown leather seat. If I lived in Italy and was Audrey Hepburn... it would be so me! ;)

And I'd be rocking the platform wedges myself ;)

I saw a Capri Blue Vespa in Annapolis the other day and it set me off on a daydream that involved me selling my Volvo sedan and moving to Monaco. With the fam, of course.

omg you're going to barf when I tell you this. A handful of years ago I found a 1965 restored cherry red vespa on ebay.
it was locally listed so I went to see it and bought it on the spot without being able to test drive it [I didn't know how at the time]. It had a bright white seat and chromed baskets on the front and back.
IT WAS THE CUTEST DAMN THING EVER.
I named her Audrey after miss hepburn. She was perfect, minus the kick start which after a year or so began to throw my back out.
I sold her to another designer 2 years after I bought it. Hopefully she's still looking spiffy.
it was such a cute piece of metal that every time I drove it around the city people would stop to wave at me it was like I was in a perpetual parade.
matching helmet by the way with a white stripe down the middle. I was very speedracer!
SIGH...kinda wish she was around right now it's perfect vespa riding weather right now!

Oh! Audrey sounds amazing! I love the perpetual parade factor.... oh, Richele! You must miss her!

I fancy the seafoam green color. Very retro. I fell in love with Vespa's while living in San Diego. Ended up though getting a Triumph motorcycle. Vespa's are just so darn cool!

Deborah,
You're right...the sea foam green is VERY retro...and very San Diego. Sounds perfect for rolling up to La Jolla and Del Mar for a lazy Saturday afternoon cruise!

i love! i want to hop on one right now and drive along the coast of a coastal city in Europe. My color of choice would be a tie between mint green and faded nantucket red. off we go!!

We drive a silver one that has a candy apple red leather seat. It is a fabulous way to zip around the City!

That makes me so happy to hear. I love the idea of tooling around town on a Vespa. It just makes me smile.
It might not be so good for the hair, but it's good for the soul :)

My neighbors just got matching vespas to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

See, I think that's just terrific. Especially if you live in SoCal or somewhere where you can ride along the coast with your hair blowing... AH! The life! Heather - you need to take covert pix of those two! :)
