Bailemos Tango!
I yearn for my first trip to Argentina. The flamenco dancing, the polo, Buenos Aires, the impossibly delicious seasoned steak, the architecture, the world class beaches (the world class shopping, while we're at it). Ahhhh.....it's going to be an amazing time.
And while I assumed South America (or at least a trip on the scale of what I am envisioning) was out of the question now that we've added a Bugaboo to our stable of vehicles, apparently I was wrong. Turns out, Argentina makes for a wonderful trip, whether or not you've got a little one in tow.
Sounds like we may try to plan a trip that coincides with the Triple Crown Cup of Polo in Palermo Buenos Aires this November. That buys me enough time to plan the trip. My new secret weapon? My Little Swans. It’s a site for families who travel the world with little ones in tow. The site helps us plan our next global adventure, itineraries, recommendation, trip planning and all. Read my full review of the site and the high-end service on Life in a Sippy Cup.
Which leads me to say one thing...Bailemos Tango!

That sounds absolutely wonderful! I am dying to visit Buenos Aires, especially since my husband's family is from Argentina. The Little Swan website sounds like a fantastic tool.

I was thinking of visiting Argentina too lately. The reason: Federico Aubele and his music. Funny how you possess music for years until one day shuffle bring them on and you get kick yourself for not exploring what was inside your music library. Usually, music is not a reason to lead me to destinations but I hva ebeen slowly looking around Argentina and I'm liking what I'm seeing. Anyway, I'm not sure how toddler friendly they are and I'm worried about the long flight too. We have trouble with an overactive toddler on trips to Italy and Greece that is 2 and 3 hours respectively, never mind London-Buenos Aires.

I noticed you like the bugaboo... We got the limited Jeans Chameleon one but I have to say, it's a mistake for me. I'm small and I find it cumbersome to use and pack in the boot of the car. I got the Silver Cross Dazzle in Grape (call it dirty fuchsia) and it's far more manageable (and girly)

Oh, God! YOu're gonna kill me with my random comments but it all came to me.
I'm doing your week challenge too. For me is procrastination in dealing with difficult tasks at work. So this week, those tasks get kicked in the butt first. So... back to the tasks before I catch myself procrastinating by commenting here. Thank you, Franki. x

Oh we are definitely soul sisters.. I have LOTS of of Federico on my ipod. Can't get enough of him.
The flight definitely is the hardest part of the trip for all of us. I agree. but it seems that once we got there it would be enough sensory stimulation to distract us all. Hard to say without trying. I do know that I can't stay stateside forever. Gotta get a move on soon! :)

It's such a magical place. You'll love it too! Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions regarding what to do/see while there. Looking forward to reading your blog daily. Best wishes. :)
