A, B, C, D, E, F, G...
Ever since launching Life in a Sippy Cup I've been joking that I'll need to think up a new variety of cup to round out my collection of web properties. "Life in a Travel Mug" just doesn't quite have the necessary chic factor I was going for, if you know what I mean. And so I sit...and wait for the moment of inspiration to strike.
While surfing today I did think up one more...a demi cup. I'm kidding of course, but certainly there's an audience for that. Especially with glamorous blogs like the Frou Frou Fashionista running at top speed. Lingerie is simply part of what makes girls girls, don't you think?
So while I don't believe I'll actually purchase the domain, I did decide to share some adorbale things I found today as I surfed...
With a bit of digging I came upon the Gossard site. Leave it to our UK sisters to deliver beautiful support garments at fetching prices. Even with the currency exchange rate it's still priced lower than my typical go-to brands.
And (lean in closely, ladies) I don't know about you...but it's hard for me to find my size. Say what you want about Victoria's Secret, but I find their quality to be poor and their sizes to be too limited to accomodate me. (I actually love that I never have to shop there. It simplifies my search, honestly. ) So I typically go with Le Mystere, Eres, Cosabella and a few other similar brands. Well, by the looks of it Gossard carries even the most unusual of sizes (as extreme as 32A to 30G apparently...G? Really?). Perfect for those on the far ends of the ...um....spectrum, shall we say. I can't tell from the site how they fare in terms of quality, but the pieces are quite pretty to look at either way.
My favorite? You can't go wrong with glamorous black. I'm loving the set above, part of the Esprit collection. It has Austrian embroidery and is just so pretty.
And if you're a bride to be this ivory set is just beautiful. And - lucky you - it's part of what they call the "superboost" collection. Needs no explanation, I'm sure.
But by the looks of it this is the UK's best kept secret for recessionistas. I loved this runway shot of a model in a Roberto Cavalli dress presumably wearing a Gossard multi-way bra beneath her column of flowing black silk. The campaign that ran alongside it called it a "credit crunch solution." I've personally never found one of these in my size, but it looks like this brand does happen to offer one. Can I get a "brallelujah!" ladies?!
So... if you have any playful ideas for me on a third domain name...shoot them my way. I'm all ears.

Hello Franki! Tried to think of your third domain name . . . but nothing. And life in a G-cup would certainly be very different from life in a demi cup :)
