Shaken, Not Stirred.
You just have to see this gorgeous collection of elements created for Domaine de Canton. The beautiful collateral and packaging are for French ginger liqueur, which apparently makes quite the festive martini.
The concept was produced by boutique firm Mucca. You need to click the images to take in the finer details of the images to see the beauty of the elements. As is so often the case with great design, the beauty of it lies in its simplicity. The packaging has a very limited color palette: matte black (almost a charcoal), glossy black and champagne. And look how pretty the bags are above. Not to mention the stand out shape of the bottle. That's a memorable design touch. (more after the jump...)
I can't take credit for the discovery. I found these while snooping on the Darden Studio blog. To my fellow typography junkies out there, the typefaces are from an as-of-this-date unreleased collection. So you may want to keep your eye on the Darden blog for future info on the fonts.
And assuming you are of legal drinking age, head on over to the Domaine de Canton web site and get yourself a ginger martini. Shaken, of course. As you might guess, the site is every bit as delicious as those print pieces. Go ahead... prepare to drool.

Oh, you make me want to learn about typography!

a liqueur made from elderberry flowers it's really light and pretty.
Add to white wine, or mix in with vodka, soda water and a splash of cranberry for a yummy summer drink!

Are the flowers and the printing embossed? This is certainly superior packaging, I have been curious to taste this for some time.
