It's A Wrap
I just put down the February issue of Town & Country which features Diane Von Furstenberg on the cover. In the article within, she says that she wouldn't choose to erase a single wrinkle on her face. That each one tells a story, holds a memory and is a symbol of the full life she has lived. How marvelous is that? Which only goes to support my belief that confidence is the most
attractive quality a woman can possibly have. She's living a life with no regrets.
Diane lives a busy, full life. She has earned her place in the world as a fashion icon. Her legendary style has transformed many a wardrobe. But ask her if any of this is a surprise to her and I'm certain she'd say no. I'm positive that she saw herself as a star and a force to be reckoned with long before anyone else did.
I'm sure she had every intention of living a legendary life. And I doubt she spent any time worrying about failure. Fear of failure is the thief of many dreams. You can't possibly worry about failure. You must focus on the life you DO want... not the one you don't want.
Great lives are usually not the result of a series of accidents. As you go about your day or your week, realize that your life is yours to design. And while there may not be anything wrong with living yours quietly, don't think that you have to. You can live as boldly, as grandly and as loudly as you choose.
I plan to live mine at full volume and focusing on success.
How about you?

Diane Von Furstenberg is wonderful. I only hope I can be as half as fablous as her as I get older. She is so lady like and classy and wise too.

Love it. And love her. She is the quintessential woman—has it all and looks amazing getting it all done! How've you been, btw, lady?! xx

Loved the article as well. And so loving look #32! I am evolving every day in my approach to what life is really all about. To say I'm excited is an understatement! Living my life like it's golden as Jilly from Philly would say.

I once saw Diane Von Furstenberg at the restaurant Modern in NYC and she looked great. You can tell by just looking at her she is a woman with strong self confidence.

I LOVE the headband with the orange red tunic, and that floppy hat with the blue bathing suit is adorable

I love DVF, she is an amazing roll model for all women. Growing old gracefully in a world where 15 year olds get botox and plastic surgery takes tremendous confidence. I choose to live me life quietly but the grand part, absolutely...all the way. I love this post Frankie!
