Deep in the Heart of Texas
I think I've died and gone to Dallas. Do you see this? A sprawling Mediterranean pad with my name (if you look closely) written all over it. Holy cow. Sweet, sweet, home.
I'll let the images do the talking for me. Needless to say, I'm in love with this space. It needs my touch with decor, but that's easily fixed. Do you see that kitchen? OMG!
It gets better. LOVE the patio with outdoor living space, fireplace, ceiling fan. Hello, fabulous.
The master bedroom. I'd work wonders with decor in this room. But look at that barrel vaulted ceiling! So very Roman. perfection. And do you see it? Yes... another fireplace.
Clearly, space is not an issue here. Vertical, horizontal. You name it. And... yet another fireplace. Hooah!
A quaint breakfast nook and bar...
I've got more pictures, but I fear I've gone on long enough. Did I mention I love windows and ridiculously high ceilings? **love**
My heart is definitely loving Texas.

Beautiful house, and yes...it is very "you". What section of Dallas is it in?

hi doll! This is in the very chic Preston Hollow - the Bushes just moved there coincidentally.
Looking at the street view on Google it seems this was a recent "tear down" lot....the other adjacent homes are much older, less fabulous single-story homes. One or two neighbors have rebuilt...but this one might bear the unfortunate distinction of being the nicest home on the block right now.
Have to see the area in person to know. It is Preston Hollow... how bad could the other homes be? LOL!

If that were my home I can honestly say that I would never leave it. Not even to go shopping - and that's saying a lot. :)

Look at that kitchen! Disgusting! While others are having to make do with little slivers of a kitchen, that kitchen is obscene by comparision. Lord, what would I give!!! :)

Wow. This is truly incredible, the kitchen had me at marble island. I did a second take because a family friend of ours in Jupiter has a replica (I mean exact plus gorgeous pool) of this house. Simply to die for.
Great post. xo
