Keep Your Eye On the Prize

Picture 2
Happy new year, everyone! It's been quiet here on the blog lately and I apologize for that. It's been busier than usual at my real day job. But the posts are coming, I assure you!

Looking back...
The holidays were fantastic. Low-key family affairs, visits with close friends and much needed long phone calls to friends far away. I hope you are enjoying the post-holiday bliss as much as we are here. On another note, I did obtain some incredible things at ridiculous prices. Designer denim, cashmere, a hat here a jacket there. Sadly, every time I found anything Mackage it was sold out in my size. But the shoes were always available in my size (somehow!!!). So suffice it to say I'm a happy girl.

Moving forward...
Personally, I don't do new years resolutions. My personal belief is that you should always be improving gradually. But the new calendar gives us all a chance or a fresh look, a fresh approach...hope, change, idealism. I'm all in favor of staring fresh. So let's make 2009 an amazing year together. I hope to get to know you all better as fellow bloggers and readers... and if you haven't joined the twitter party yet, you're missing out.

The Jimmy Choos featured above are my current obsession. One word sums them up: mine! LOL. Listen, it doesn't get better than a 4" stacked platform heel. These are absolute perfection and are my pick for the ultimate spring/summer shoe for 2009. You read it here first.

So happy new year to you all. I plan to be back on track with posts soon and some small but exciting announcements. Have a lovely weekend! XOXO!

What the beautiful people are saying...

You need to do an online fashion show girl. I'm living vicariously through you in 2009!

Hello Franki, this morning the ups truck pulled up and delivered the book.

Thank you very much!

The shoes are beautiful and are making me so excited for Spring. Happy New Year, Franki! Hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends.
xo

Feel like these are great 'power' shoes...and they look reasonably comfortable for frolicking in the upcoming spring (yay!)...but back to boot land for the short lived fall here in Florida.

Love your comment on my blog. Thank you and Happy New Year! Great shoes and I am about to add you to my twitter.

Ok, first of all, happy new year!

Second, I don't do resolutions either...yet another thing, aside from our love for gorgeous shoes, that we have in common:)

Speaking of shoes and obsessions, these are DIVINE. I love them.

And, finally, you read my mind bc just this morning I was thinking about whether or not I should join Twitter. I guess I know what your advice would be.

:)

Love the shoes!
Happy New Year!
ENJOY 2009!

Those pumps are certainly drool worthy! I want one too!!!

My Beloved Franki, when I saw the title of this post, it immediately caught my attention. It's a phrase my father closes all of his letters/emails. That, coupled with the shoe...can we have a moment of silence for the shoe?! I would love to come and play dress up in your closet...

And just for Dawn... a moment of silence for the shoe ((((moment)))) ahhh!

Chessa: yes on twitter. yes! Come find me!

Jen, we all can wear high shoes. We all can. Well, that's not entirely true... but mentally, we all can!

You have to put some more post about these so we can understand it clearly.

Something to say, gorgeous?...
