Mod, Mod World
Can you imagine getting dolled up like this to go to work? (Well.. I suppose you still do if you're a cage dancer at a Vegas nightclub. But anyway...)
Lil Bee had this amazing look back at what I refer to as the Catch Me If You Can era (see the movie, if for no other reason than the fashion).
I don't mind telling you, I love the outfits from head to toe. Looks like I have my Summer '08 wardrobe selected...
Please to enjoy. Thanks for the look back, Melisa!

One thing I notice is, there are no men! Why no sexy men in hotpants please? LOL

they may not be in hotpants... but with legs lke this abounding, the men can't be far away!

The movie is a great bit of fashion homage, you're right. And I've always been a sucker for a well-worn white web belt (see Dame Diana Rigg as Emma Peel.)

WOW... LOL... thes photos are GREAT! This is when "flight attendants" were STEWARDESS! These photos are what made me want to be a stewardess as a kid! Height and weight requirements... how things have changed... has it been for the better?

That's when air travel was glamorous!

I love this post! I can't get enough of these pictures, oh the glam! I yearn for the days when people dressed to fly.

As a Dallas resident, I totally appreciate this look back. What fun boots!

OMG... Fifi, I miss (MISS) the days when we could even utter the word stewardess. *sigh!*
Tricia, this has Dallas written all over it, baby!!! ;)
Rebecca & Dawn.. don't you miss it? I'm so tired of seeing everyone try to look 'too cool to care' - I miss the pomp and circumstance ;)
