Milan Design week is over... but I keep thinking about the recurring theme of flowers. Tokujin Yoshioka's Bouquet Chair looks every bit as beautiful as it does comfortable. It's interesting that I like the chair, as I tend to avoid frou frou items. But the Saarinen style base and monochromatic color palette make it unexpectedly modern. I love the white one in the back of this image. Stunning.

But my heart really goes out for this beautiful bloom by Dutch designer, Anouk Omlo. These ceramic wonders are part of the  Helica Series. Can you believe she makes these by hand? Fascinating.

Spring has definitely sprung!
