I love the duality of runway fashion and home fashion. The two are intersecting now more than ever before. Right now I'm loving the cork platforms popping (sorry for the play on words) up everywhere. An early morning note from Z Gallerie let me know cork was high on their style list this season.

But that's not where the cork platforms end. Prada, Kors and Louboutin are just a few of the fashion houses who'll be propping us up on these cushy platforms this for summer and spring. I for one am thrilled. This means I can rock all of my cork platforms from last season (not that I wouldn't have anyway) while knowing I'm still at the front of the curve. And if you haven't slipped your feet into a pair of cork-bottom heels... do yourself a favor and buy several pair. A good pair of corks will feel like you're walking on air. Your feet will thank you. Like buttah' ladies. Like buttah...
