le bébé élégant
I'm having a field day getting the nursery ready, although I;ll readily admit it is designed to my style, not that of a newborn. And (no surprise) eBay is turning out to be a wonderful resource for all things stylish.
For example, I found this lovely chandelier from an amazing eBay seller, Trendy Vintage Collection. The chandelier care packaged with such care and attention to detail. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the item. It looks marvelous in the new room. If you have any need for lighting of this sort, I cannot say enough great things about her product and her service.
Next, I came across these chic little letters for the wall. For me, this solved a 'what in the world do I place over the crib?' issue. Yes, these are available in many locations, but I found an amazing vendor on eBay who can do the letters in virtually any font at all (a major bonus, as I'd fallen in love with a new typeface recently). If you (or a hip friend) are pimping out a room for a little one, Creative Woodcrafts is the way to go.
If you're interested, I might post pictures of the space once it's finished.

Hi there! Those letters are absolutely adorable - the perfect addition for a little one's room
For basics - did you hear that GapBaby Home is launching in April?
P.S. I found your blog via your hubby's tweet, and I'm hooked!

Ha! I hadn’t even thought of that. LOL. No diva’s here. But if she’s born with an inkling of style I’ll be thrilled :)

Hi Franki, I absolutely love shopping on Ebay and the pieces you've shown look fantastic. I really hope you will show photos of the finished room as I know it will look every bit as fabulous as your taste is.

Hey Franki! You know I love Chandeliers and this doesn't disappoint! Btw...I made my first sale on Etsy :) and I put that banner up you fixed on my stationary to send the buyer a thank you, and you are so right that chandelier is weak! It didn't print well at all.
Hope you are having a great start to your weekend :)

I need to fix that last comment, in case anybody reads that...I don't want anybody to think you designed the chandelier on the banner, as you are extremely talented!!!
Ok, I couldn't rest until I did so!!! :)

I saw the letters idea in a Pottery Barn catalog and loved it. I would love to find metal die-cut letters or paint them different colors. I think they'd look fabulous on a slate blue/gray wall!
Also, I'm a huge fan of chandeliers too! I think the more opulent, kitschy or decorative, the better statement!

I've seen these letters before- so cute! I love the idea of spelling out something above the crib: Baby's name, the word BABY, etc. Definitely post pics of the space when it's finished-would love to see it!
