KELLY WEARSTLER home designs now online!
The long awaited release of KW's mod-baroque line of home accessories is now available online at BergdorfGoodman.com. Hooah! Here are a few of my personal picks...
You know I have to rock the iconic Greek foot. Yes. Call me a neo-Classicist (go ahead, I won't hear you), but I can't get enough of Greek and Roman artifacts. While it's scale may not rival that of Colossus, every time I see this I'll be taken back to Europe, if only in my mind. And isn't that what great interior accessories should do?
My need for luxe objects surrounding me at home makes this next item irresistible. Kelly's Confetti Bowl is sleek and modern while still offering an organic randomness that makes it seem like it came from a small pottery boutique on an off-street in Milan. While there may be thousands of these in production, you'd be pretty safe telling your friends it's one of a kind. Unless of course they're as cool as you, and already have a bevy of KW's objects. Then you're busted. ;)
The collection is a well edited (that's designer speak for small), but laced with enough variety to satisfy her throng of discerning fans. Get them before they sell out...

I'm sooo obsessed!

I really like the Greek foot. I made a sculpture when I was in art school and they look quite similar. Maybe it was the left foot of this same person :)

Oh, I totally agree with you that our interior accessories should take us back to the places they came from or the cities we bought them in. I do miss my 'home' sometimes, with all my bits and pieces picked up from around the world. Part of the frustration of being permanently on the road is not being able to buy stuff too! Where would I send it to? Will you mind a few pieces for me, Frankie?! Yes, I know you would!
