As I wandered the web looking for images of a chandelier for a certain someone, I came across these lovely shots of Venice on a TripAdvisor photo album. I can't wait to return to this amazing city! There's something so fabulous about crossing a street by boat. It is truly a unique experience.

We stayed in a room that reminded me of this one. In true Venetian style, the drapes matched the bedspread which matched the fabric wallcovering... it was overwhelming, but so apropos for our first stay in Venice.

There's something familiar about this bridge. It makes me wonder if this couple stayed in a room near the cafe we went to on our first evening. I'd like to imagine this was take early in the morning as the sun came up over the city, but judging by the number of people in the shot it is more likely it is an afternoon shot.

And this is the cutest image of all. I love the silhouettes of our 'mystery travelers' during their stay in Venice. What a lovely space they are in.. and how romantic to have the room to themselves so early in the morning. The views... the floor... the floor to ceiling drapes... the round tables for two by the windows...the VIEW. Ahh... Venezia is calling me back. Time to head back to the old country. Italy... I'm missing you dearly today!
